In the section dedicated to the territory, a large collection of archival, graphic and photographic documents is displayed which illustrate the characteristics of the Moranese agricultural landscape and its evolution from the beginning of the modern age to the mid-twentieth century, with particular attention to the distribution of crops and the ‘land use.
Another thematic area of particular interest documented in the section is that relating to the use of the natural resources of the territory, first of all water, the wide availability of which, especially in the past, has significantly influenced the characteristics of local agriculture.
Finally, intimately connected to these two themes is that of the development of the town and, more generally, of the urbanization process of the territory, as it occurred from the Middle Ages to the nineteenth century, reconstructed through the exhibition of cartographic and topographic documents. supported by illustrative texts.
