A branch of the nearby <a href=\"https:\/\/moranocalabro.travel\/en\/chiesa-santi-apostoli-pietro-e-paolo\/\">Church of the Saints Apostles Peter and Paul<\/a>, it has been active since the 15th century, although its construction may date back to an earlier period, contemporary with the castle\u2019s construction.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"472\" data-end=\"516\">Architecture and Structure of the Church<\/h2><p data-start=\"518\" data-end=\"752\">The interior of the church is characterized by a sober and essential appearance.
