The data presented have been primarily derived from two land registries: the <strong data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"473\">Provisional Land Registry<\/strong> from the early 19th century and the <strong data-start=\"510\" data-end=\"537\">Registry from the 1920s<\/strong>, which clearly show the distribution of land ownership over time, highlighting the phenomena of <strong data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"651\">fragmentation<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"656\" data-end=\"672\">polarization<\/strong>.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"733\"><strong data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"733\">Polarization of Land Ownership in the 19th Century<\/strong><\/h2><p data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"1283\">In the 19th century, land ownership was highly polarized.
